Rockstar has finally announced the final release date for the first Max Payne 3 DLC pack titled "Local Justice". The pack, to be released on July 3rd for consoles and July 17th for PC, includes maps from the final chapters of the story mode, a new weapon, item, faction and a number of new achievements.
55th Battalion HQ map for all game modes
The Imperial Palace and Departure Lounge maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer
Light Fingers Item for faster looting
M4 Assault Rifle with attachments
São Paulo Police Faction with related avatar customization options
Because the pack was originally going to be released in June, Rockstar will be offering the pack at a discounted price of 480MS Points or $5.99 on PC and PS3. After the launch week, the price will go back up to 640MS Points or $7.99. No reason was given as to why the PC has been shafted in terms of release dates again.
Also coming July 3rd for consoles, all the pre-order DLC will be available for purchase, which includes:
Classic Max Payne Character: 80 MSFT Points / $0.99 PSN
Again, PC owners get shafted until July 17th for the pre-order DLC.
